Hackney Half Marathon - St. Joseph's Hospice
The Butler & Stag team's decision to participate in the Hackney Half Marathon was a testament to their collective spirit and camaraderie. With a shared goal of completing the challenging 13.1-mile race, they embarked on a months-long training journey that brought them closer together as colleagues and friends.
As a company we recognized the Hackney Half Marathon as an opportunity for our Bow office to make a meaningful impact by supporting a local charity. St Joseph's Hospice is located in Bethnal Green which is just around the corner from our office on Roman Road, Bow. We understand the support and care they give to not only the people facing life-limiting illnesses but also their families when going through such a life-challenging time, which really touched each and everyone at Butler & Stag, making a decision that St Josephs was the right charity to support.
The presence of supportive colleagues throughout the race showcased the tight-knit community within Butler & Stag. By showing up to cheer and support their teammates, the staff demonstrated the company's shared commitment to personal growth and collective success. This team-oriented approach fostered an environment where everyone felt valued and empowered to achieve their goals.
As our staff members pushed their limits during the Hackney Half Marathon, colleagues were there to witness and celebrate their milestone moments. From the exhilaration of crossing each mile marker to the final triumphant dash to the finish line, the support and cheers from their fellow team members served as a reminder of the collective achievement and the bonds that unite them. Our runners have done us proud, with them all crossing the finish line. Well done!
Participating in the Hackney Half Marathon was certainly not the first community or charity event we have attended/organised or supported and certainly won't be the last. We aim to make a lasting impact both professionally and personally. After all, we aren't just estate agent, we are people passionate about people and property, no matter how big or small.
