Neil, is the visionary and co-founder behind Butler & Stag, dedicating over 20 years to excelling in various aspects of the real estate market. Driven by a client-focused, people first ethos, Neil has established a brand where relationships are paramount and personalised service is the cornerstone.
Establishing, breaking, and maintaining sales records for a leading independent agent in Hackney, East London where Neil held senior positions, before stepping away and launching Butler & Stag in 2012.
Neils knowledge and passion for redevelopments, new homes and property management, have led him to oversee several high value transactions and land deals in collaboration with regional and national developers.
He remains as passionate and driven to grow and improve service, as he did when the doors to the business were first opened.
Always up for a challenge, Neil has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for local charities by throwing himself in events such the Three Peaks Challenge and London to Brighton bike ride. Away from the office Neil is a family man, he has a son and a daughter and enjoys spending time with them, along with his wife Claire. Neil also coaches his son’s football team at Buckhurst Hill FC and has overseen the transition of many of their players to professional academies.

Michael Woolley Director - Land & New Homes
Michael is the co-founder and a director of Butler & Stag, launching the business with his long-time friend Neil Leahy in 2012. With a career in the East London and City fringe property market dating back to 1999, he brings over two decades of hands-on experience across all aspects of property.
Renowned for his practical knowledge, Michael has expertise in residential sales, property management, and strategic advisory work, with a focus on land and site acquisitions. He has acted for high-net-worth clients seeking development opportunities and advised landowners on maximising and disposing of their assets.
Michael plays a large role in the Land & New Homes department — one of the fastest-growing areas of Butler & Stag — overseeing development opportunities, site acquisitions, and block management, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.
When he’s not in the London or West Essex offices, Michael can usually be found chauffeuring one of his three children or enjoying time with his long-suffering wife.

Ted Rayment New Homes Manager
Ted began his property career as a Property Consultant in Bishops Stortford in 2016. Since then, he has built extensive experience across the residential market, developing a strong reputation for professionalism and results.
After joining Butler & Stag in 2019, Ted progressed into the Land & New Homes team in 2021, playing an important role in its development. Now New Homes Manager, he oversees developments across London and the Home Counties, working closely with developers and buyers to delive r successful outcomes.
Born and raised in Epping Green, Ted also brings valuable local knowledge of the CM16 area, combining regional insight with a broader understanding of the London and South East markets.

Jamie Gordon Land Manager
Born in Westminster and raised in Essex, Jamie brings over 12 years of hands-on experience in the property industry, blending a passion for real estate with a commitment to building meaningful client relationships. His journey began in 2012 as a trainee lettings negotiator in Leytonstone, diving straight into the property world right out of school.
Building on this foundation, Jamie went on to gain valuable expertise in residential and commercial sales, equipping him with a broad understanding of the market and the diverse needs of his clients. In 2020, he embraced an exciting new direction, moving into property development with a focus on land acquisitions. This transition enabled him to apply his in-depth market knowledge in a more strategic way, helping clients and investors identify and maximize development and investment opportunities.
When not immersed in property, Jamie enjoys time with his wife and son, making the most of everyday moments. Outside of family life, he has a passion for sports, especially football and very rarely misses a chance to support his football team.
