On Friday, Butler & Stag hosted our third annual Golf Day, bringing together 100 golfers for a fantastic day of competition, networking and fundraising in support of Haven House Children’s Hospice.
The annual Golf Day has quickly become one of the highlights of the Butler & Stag calendar, and this year was no exception. With 100 golfers taking to the course, the day was filled with friendly competition, great company, plenty of laughs and, of course, some memorable moments on the course.
While the day itself is all about enjoying the golf and spending time together, there is a huge amount of preparation behind the scenes to make the event possible. From coordinating players and handicaps to organising scorecards, personalised merchandise, raffle prizes, course maps and everything needed on the day, months of planning go into making sure everything runs smoothly.
Once the final putts had been made and everyone had returned from the course, the day continued with a BBQ and an evening of celebrations. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax, catch up and reflect on the day before the raffle and prize-giving got underway.
There were plenty of prizes to be won, recognising some of the best performances from the day, alongside our raffle which helped us raise even more money for our chosen charity.
Most importantly, the Golf Day gives us the opportunity to raise money for a charity that does incredibly important work. All money raised from this year's event was donated to Haven House Children’s Hospice, helping support the vital care and services they provide to seriously ill children and their families.

We are incredibly proud of what the Butler & Stag Golf Day has become over the past three years. Seeing 100 people come together, enjoy themselves and raise money for such a worthwhile cause makes all the planning and preparation worthwhile.
